The KNX Association has recently released ETS 6.1, which makes it the most up-to-date version of the ETS programming software.
What's New in ETS 6.1?
The biggest visual change is the updated layout of the project workbench. The new features of this include:
- Open a new tab containing a panel from an existing project or App
- Toolbar with breadcrumb navigation and fixed features
- Context tabs (e.g. Group Objects, Channels, Parameters, Devices, etc.) moved on top of the window
- New sidebar container 'Groups’
- Panel selector
- Option to make a panel 'Favourite’
- Group by App developer for App panels
- Actions (close, move up/down, as a new tab, as a new window)
Other new features include:
Project archive
- Linked folders
- Archive mode indication on the dashboard (Collaboration/Backup)
Project list view
A plug-in information repository is now used to allow user guidance for plug-in related errors.
Bug fixes and Improvements
As well as the new features, ETS 6.1 also brings with it a plethora of bug fixes, which now being fixed will significantly improve an integrator's user experience.
